At least 10 people died and around 25 others fell ill after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in villages of Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district. A local BJP MLA put the death toll at 11. A preliminary probe suggested the liquor was supplied from Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh. Seven liquor shops were sealed, while CM Mohan Yadav ordered an immediate probe and strict action.
