12 Pilgrims Killed As Speeding Truck Hits Pickup On UP Expressway

A speeding truck rammed into a pickup van carrying 32 pilgrims on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Baghpat, killing 12 people, including three children and three women, and injuring over 19 others. The victims were returning to Badaun from Bagad Dham in Rajasthan. CM Yogi Adityanath announced Rs 2 lakh for each deceased victim’s family and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
