Traffic movement near Mumbai’s JVPD Junction in Juhu was affected after a 400-tonne crane deployed for Metro Line 2B pier-cap work developed a technical snag. MMRDA directed the contractor to repair and remove the crane. One lane was opened for traffic, while residents and citizen groups raised concerns over commuter inconvenience and site preparedness.
