'4th Mumbai' In Palghar, But Villagers Still Risk Their Lives Crossing Railway Tracks

Vadhiv village in Palghar, home to over 4,000 people, still lacks a proper road despite the region’s ‘Fourth Mumbai’ development push. Residents, including schoolchildren and patients, are forced to cross railway tracks to reach the main road. Villagers claim 22 people have died on the tracks, while others allegedly died due to delayed medical access.
