6 arrested for supplying mule accounts in Thane; Rs 57 crore fraud detected

In a significant crackdown, six suspects were detained in Thane for providing bank accounts to cyber criminals involved in a scheme that racked up over fifty-seven crore rupees. A raid in Solapur led to the recovery of various electronic devices and financial records. These accounts were reportedly utilized as mule accounts for illegal online betting and gaming activities, linking them to ninety-six cybercrime cases across multiple Indian states.
