Axis Max Life Insurance launches ChatGPT Ads campaign with HiveMinds
Axis Max Life Insurance has launched advertising campaigns on ChatGPT Ads in India, in partnership with HiveMinds, a unit of Madison World. The move places the insurer among the early insurance brands in India to advertise on ChatGPT, as conversational AI becomes another avenue for consumers researching financial products. Life insurance is a high-consideration category, with consumers typically researching factors such as coverage, policy benefits, premiums and claim settlement records before making a decision. The insurer is using ChatGPT Ads to reach consumers through sponsored placements alongside AI-generated responses. The ChatGPT activity is being added to Axis Max Life’s existing digital media efforts across search, social and performance marketing. Sameer Jain, head of Commerce & D2C, Axis Max Life Insurance, said: "Insurance decisions begin with understanding, and consumers today are exploring new ways to find answers to their financial questions. ChatGPT Ads allows us to be present at an important stage of that journey. The encouraging initial response strengthens our belief that conversational AI will play a meaningful role in how consumers discover and evaluate life insurance." The company said its initial response indicates that consumers are using AI conversations to explore factors such as their profession, working years, family size, priorities and required coverage when considering life insurance. HiveMinds is handling the media strategy, campaign planning, activation and ongoing optimisation for the initiative. Deepti Bhadauria, CEO & Partner, HiveMinds said: " For categories with long purchase journeys and large-scale personalization, Conversational AI can be the new differentiator. Our partnership with Axis Max Life is focused on converting this emerging opportunity into measurable business impact. The early response has been promising and reinforces the potential of ChatGPT Ads within a full funnel media strategy."
