Before crucial Ladakh talks, Buddhists call for including Chhewang, Gyaltson in negotiations

Ahead of the September 9 talks to finalise the draft on Ladakh’s safeguards, concerned Buddhist citizens have urged the Centre to include former MP Thupstan Chhewang and ex-CEC Tashi Gyaltson, warning that keeping the two senior leaders out could deepen divisions among Buddhists and cast a shadow over the legitimacy of any final agreement.
