Bengal court issues arrest warrant against Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra – Know why

A court in Krishnanagar on Wednesday issued arrest warrant against Trinamool Congress MP, Mahua Moitra after she failed to appear before the bench in a hate speech case. The court refused to entertain the plea of Moitra’s counsel that she would not appear in court because she feared being heckled outside the court premises.
