Bhiwandi: Police Book 7 Named Protesters, 10-15 Others For Allegedly Blocking Road During Anti-Torrent Power Protest

Bhiwandi City Police booked seven identified persons and 10 to 15 others after an anti-Torrent Power protest allegedly blocked traffic at Anand Dighe Chowk on Friday. Police said the demonstration was held without permission between 5.50 pm and 6.20 pm. Protesters allegedly ignored instructions to clear the road and violated prohibitory orders. No arrests have been made so far.
