Centre extends AFSPA in 'disturbed areas' of Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh

The AFSPA, which gives special powers to the Armed Forces, will remain in effect in these areas for six months from October 1, unless withdrawn earlier, the notification said.
