CJP leader and spokesperson Saurav Das is set to visit Delhi’s Parliament Street Police Station at 10 AM on September 4 in connection with the case involving Sanjay, the father of CJP activist Nishu.The development comes amid continuing controversy over the alleged assault on Sanjay during the July 20 protests at Jantar Mantar. CJP has alleged that Sanjay suffered a serious head injury and has repeatedly demanded stronger legal action in the case. Saurav Das had earlier alleged that the police had not invoked provisions sought by the group.The issue has remained part of CJP's wider confrontation with authorities following the July protests.
