CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Lays Foundation Stone For Adani Power’s 3,200 MW Assam Project

Adani Power Limited began work on its 3,200 MW Ultra-Supercritical Thermal Power Plant at Chapar after Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma laid the foundation stone, the company said. The ₹48,000-crore project will be built in phases and is expected to generate employment, strengthen Assam’s electricity supply and support local businesses.
