Domestic Markets End Lower for Third Consecutive Session, Sensex Falls 813 Points
Benchmark domestic equity indices ended lower for the third consecutive session today. The Sensex plunged 813 points, or 1.1 per cent, to close at 74,764. The Nifty also shed 204 points, or 0.9 per cent, to settle at 23,432.In the broader market on the National Stock Exchange, the Midcap 100 and Smallcap 100 indices also declined by half a per cent each.In the Sensex pack, 24 out of 30 companies registered losses.
