Eid-e-Milad Processions: Citizens Forum Sends Legal Notice To BMC, Seeks Equal Civic Arrangements By Aug 25

A citizens’ forum has served a legal notice to the BMC seeking equal and immediate civic arrangements for Eid-e-Milad processions on August 26. The notice seeks sanitation, water, medical, lighting and traffic measures and implementation of a Rs 2 crore annual allocation, warning of Bombay High Court action if arrangements are not made by August 25.
