A guide told the FT that Trump Jr killed an endangered Altai argali during the trip. The expedition also involved six-figure charity-auction bids for access to hunt alongside the president’s son, while Trump Jr later held an informal dinner with Mongolia’s president. Trump Jr’s spokesperson says Kremlev is a personal friend rather than a business partner.
