Ganeshotsav Security In Kalyan-Dombivli: Over 1,000 Police Personnel And Home Guards To Manage Festival Crowds

According to DCP Atul Zende, Kalyan Police Zone-3 will deploy 1,066 personnel and Home Guards during Ganeshotsav to manage security, traffic and crowds. The zone expects 302 public Ganpati mandals, 52,544 household idols and 7,220 Gauri Ganpati installations. Two SRPF platoons will also be deployed to support arrangements during the festival period across Kalyan-Dombivli safely.
