Govt working to allow ethanol blending beyond E20 via flexi-fuel vehicles: PM Advisor

India plans to allow ethanol blending beyond the E20 level soon. Flexi-fuel vehicles will enable higher blending percentages for greater fuel independence. The government is also exploring biofuel additives for the diesel segment. Ethanol manufacturers are encouraged to diversify into compressed biogas production. Existing investments in the biofuels sector will face no uncertainty.
