India's blunt answer on Correct the Map, wrong picture of J&K-Ladakh is not acceptable

India has given a clear answer to the Correct the Map proposal. India supported the principle of equal-area map projection, but refused to approve any particular world map or projection. The Ministry of External Affairs clearly said that showing the sovereign territory of India, including Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, in any wrong or misleading map is not acceptable.
