Japanese fighters operate from Indian soil for first time, marking new phase in India-Japan air ties

Japanese fighter aircrafts operating from Indian soil for the first time has marked a significant new milestone in the expanding defence partnership between India and Japan, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh said on Sunday, as he and his Japanese counterpart General Takehiro Morita flew in a Tejas formation during Exercise Veer Guardian-2026 at Jodhpur.
