Rama Rao (KTR) on Saturday targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over what he described as the Congress government's failure to fulfil promises made to students and unemployed youth.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">KTR said Rahul Gandhi should come to Telangana and listen to the concerns of students instead of conducting his "Chhatron Ki Goonj" campaign elsewhere.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">"Rahul Gandhi is changing colours from state to state. You are talking about 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' across India. I demand that you come to Telangana and listen to the problems of our students. You will hear the real Goonj of students here. Come to Telangana and listen to the voice of Telangana's students," KTR said.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">He questioned Rahul Gandhi over the Congress promise to provide two lakh jobs every year in Telangana. KTR alleged that the Congress leadership disappeared after securing votes.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">"If you do not come, we will come to Delhi," he warned.</p> <h2>KTR asks Congress to answer youth on job promises</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Referring to youth protests in Delhi, KTR said the Centre had been forced to take note when young people came onto the streets.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">"The youth who made even Modi tremble have nothing to fear from this Kedi," he said.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">KTR also challenged Revanth Reddy to stop making excuses and face Telangana's youth and the BRS in the Assembly with answers on the government's unfulfilled promises.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">He questioned the status of the job calendar, Youth Commission, unemployment allowance and youth loans. He also sought answers on fee reimbursement and the promised reservations for local youth in private-sector employment.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">"Then it was the Youth Declaration; now it is Revanth's 'Boothu Calendar'," KTR said.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">He alleged that Telangana had no job calendar but a "scam calendar".</p> <h2>KTR rejects demand for KCR's resignation</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Responding to demands for former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao's resignation, KTR said there was no question of KCR resigning after fighting for and securing statehood for Telangana.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">"For their 420 unfulfilled promises, Revanth Reddy and Congress leaders should resign 420 times," KTR said.</p> He warned that the Congress government would face a political backlash over the unfulfilled promises.
