According to the source, Tandiya had lent ₹7 lakh to two persons in the Chandrasekharpur area and allegedly set himself on fire outside the apartment of the borrowers after repeatedly seeking repayment. Chandrasekharpur Police have arrested Prabhas Panda on allegations of mental harassment and abetment, while another accused is reportedly absconding. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and the alleged loan dispute. Tandiya was a resident of Kailash Vihar Mahavir Basti.
