Bank cashier Ramesh Behera and employee Prashant Nayak were walking to the bank carrying ₹28 lakh withdrawn from an ATM near the bank. Two miscreants arrived on a motorcycle and sprayed paper spray on Prashant’s face before attempting to snatch the bag containing the cash from the cashier. A scuffle between the employees and the miscreants was captured on CCTV. After failing to carry out the robbery, the two suspects fled towards Khordha.
