Maharashtra: Tukaram Munde-Led FDA Seizes Banned Gutkha, Pan Masala Worth ₹1.13 Crore After 6-Hour Chase In Pune; Probe Underway

Maharashtra FDA seized banned gutkha and pan masala along with a truck, collectively valued at ₹1.13 crore, after a six-hour chase that ended in Pune's Chakan, officials said. The truck allegedly carried the products from Madhya Pradesh and evaded an interception attempt. Five parties were named in the case, while FDA asked police to examine whether MCOCA provisions apply.
