Mother, daughter drown in Tungabhadra river at Hampi, son rescued

Hampi river tragedy: A mother and her 13-year-old daughter drowned in the Tungabhadra near Virupaksha Temple, while her 10-year-old son was rescued. Heavy river inflow and whirlpools are hampering efforts to recover the girl's body.
