Palghar PWD Under Scanner As ₹73 Lakh Allegedly Diverted Through Altered Records

An inquiry into Palghar’s Jawhar PWD has flagged an alleged ₹73.13 lakh fund irregularity, with official records reportedly altered to show payments to private contractor Jijau Construction instead of original contractors. The amount was later returned to the government account. Police and departmental processes are underway, while an SIT probe has also been sought.
