Power utilities seek coal supply from Telangana's Singareni; company prioritises state's demand

Singareni coal: Power utilities across India are seeking extra supplies as El Nino conditions lift electricity demand. SCCL is prioritising Telangana, with nearly 90 per cent of its power-sector coal supplies going to thermal plants within the state.
