Rajnath-led defence acquisition council approves military proposals worth Rs 1.1 lakh crore for three services
The Defence Acquisition Council has greenlit military equipment acquisitions worth Rs 1.10 lakh crore, aimed at enhancing the combat capabilities of the armed forces. Remarkably, 98 percent of these purchases will come from domestic manufacturers. The approval list includes advanced chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear reconnaissance vehicles, reinforcing the commitment to the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
