Rajya Sabha Passes NCDC Amendment Bill to Enable Direct Funding for Cooperative Societies

The Rajya Sabha on Wednesday passed the National Co-operative Development Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2026, by voice vote, paving the way for changes aimed at making financial assistance to cooperative societies more direct, flexible and responsive to their developmental needs.
