Rape Suspect Climbs Chambal Bridge, Demands Custody Of Child With Lover After Returning From Jail

A rape suspect, Golu Purvanshi, climbed onto a bridge over the Chambal River in Bhind and threatened to jump after a woman’s family refused to hand over a baby girl he claimed was his daughter. Police teams from Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh counselled him for nearly an hour before he moved away from the railing and returned home safely.
