Six injured, four critically after vehicle skids off road in J-K's Rajouri

Rajouri, Aug 16: At least six people were injured, four of them critically, after a vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a ditch in the Kandi Mohra area of Rajouri district on Sunday, officials said. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that six people were injured after the vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a ditch in the Kandi Mohra area. He said the injured were initially provided first aid at CHC Kandi, while four critically injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri for further treatment. The injured were identified as Mohd Azam (60), son of Mir Baz; Ibrar Ahmed (35), son of Mohd Azam; Imtiaz Ahmed (18), son of Mohd Azam; Shamim Akhter (22), wife of Ibrar Ahmed; Mohd Shakeel (22), son of Munshi Khan and Khadam Hussain, all residents of Rehan, Kotranka tehsil of Rajouri district. Police have taken up an investigation into the incident.
