Six Year Old Girl Critical, Three Injured as CNG Vehicle Plunges Into Water in Mayong

A CNG vehicle carrying three passengers met with an accident near Ashighar Balimukh Bridge in Mayong after it allegedly hit a six-year-old girl and subsequently fell off the road into a water body. The child, identified as six year old Mosafia Begum, sustained serious injuries in the accident . Her condition has been reported to be critical. According to reports, the vehicle was carrying three men who were returning home from Kerala when the accident occurred. The vehicle reportedly hit the child and went off the road while the occupants were attempting to save her. All three passengers travelling in the vehicle also sustained injuries in the accident. The injured child and the three passengers were subsequently rushed to Jhar Gaon Primary Health Centre for medical treatment. The accident took place near Ashighar Balimukh Bridge, where the CNG reportedly veered off the road and plunged into the water. The vehicle has not yet been recovered and remains submerged in the water. The circumstances surrounding the accident are yet to be ascertained in detail. Local authorities and emergency personnel are expected to assess the situation and take necessary steps to recover the vehicle. The condition of the six-year-old child remains a major concern, while the three injured passengers are also undergoing treatment .
