Supreme Court seeks Centre’s stand on plea to bar perks for officials quitting to avoid removal

The Supreme Court on Thursday sought the Centre’s response to a plea seeking a declaration that any constitutional functionary who resigns mid-tenure to avoid removal from office shall not be entitled to perks, amenities, facilities or other entitlements.
