Thane: MLC Niranjan Davkhare Urges Collector To Allocate 4–5 Acres For Stray Dog Shelter

MLC Niranjan Davkhare has asked the Thane administration to allocate 4–5 acres of government land in a rural area for a dedicated stray dog shelter. The proposed facility would include sterilisation, anti-rabies vaccination, rehabilitation, and veterinary treatment services to address growing public safety and animal welfare concerns.
