Two Srinagar residents among 3 killed in Jalandhar road accident

Punjab/Srinagar, Aug 16: Three persons, including two residents of Srinagar, were killed while three others sustained injuries in a road accident in Bhogpur area of Jalandhar, Punjab, officials said. Officials told news agency JKNS that, the accident occurred when a speeding Maruti Fronx collided with a roadside vendor before crashing into a tree, resulting in multiple casualties. The roadside vendor, a Punjab resident, also died in the accident. Officials said three other occupants of the vehicle, all residents of Srinagar, sustained injuries in the accident and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
