UP Launches Free Roadways Bus Travel Scheme For Women Above 60 Years Under Lokmata Ahilyabai Yatra

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the Lokmata Ahilyabai Matri Shakti Yatra scheme, offering free Roadways bus travel to women aged 60 years and above. UPSRTC will issue smart cards to beneficiaries. The scheme is expected to benefit around 88,438 women daily and will cost the state government about Rs 270.6 crore annually.
