Wrong-Side Driving Crackdown: Mumbai Traffic Police Suspends 253 Licences, Registers 290 FIRs In 21 Days

Mumbai Traffic Police has intensified its crackdown on wrong-side driving, suspending 253 driving licences and filing 290 FIRs in 21 days. In the first seven months of 2026, 18,671 motorists were booked, including 15,438 two-wheeler riders. Police are registering cases, seizing vehicles and deploying CCTV and enforcement teams across all 41 traffic divisions.
