Did the pilots of the Amazon cargo jet ignore early warnings before the crash? New cockpit data from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has revealed a chilling sequence of events before the deadly Amazon Prime Air Boeing 767 crash at Miami International Airport. The aircraft received seven automated warnings during its final approach, including two “sink rate” alerts and five “too low terrain” warnings. The cockpit recording also shows one pilot repeatedly warning the other about excessive speed, with those concerns beginning around 70 seconds before touchdown. Despite the warnings, the approach continued. The 767 then plunged around 400 feet in just four seconds before touching down near the halfway point of the runway.
