The two were travelling on Honda […]HYDERABAD: Goshamahal Traffic Police intercepted two men on a scooter at Alaska Junction late on Saturday night and seized ganja from the vehicle, before handing them over to the Begum Bazar police. According to the police, the interception took place around 10:15pm on October 31 during late-night vehicle checking. The two were travelling on Honda Activa scooters and were stopped on suspicion. During inspection of a black Honda Activa bearing a temporary registration number, the staff found three sealed sachets and one opened sachet containing ganja in the dickey. Case registered The two were identified as Mohd. Abubakar Ahmed, 23, of Falaknuma, and Mohd. Rehan Khadri, 20, of Shalibanda. On questioning, they disclosed that they had purchased the ganja from an unknown person at Mangal Basti in Habeeb Nagar for personal consumption. The accused and the seized ganja were handed over to the Begum Bazar police station for further legal action. A case was registered under NDPS Act. ]]>
