'India has to capitalize': Naidu on HAL-Russia aircraft MoU talks, BRICS & India’s global role

Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu said India has expanded talks with Russia on manufacturing the IL-114 and Sukhoi Superjet 100 in India under an existing HAL-Russia MoU, with the aircraft seen as suitable for regional connectivity. Ahead of the BRICS Summit, Naidu said “the world in general” is looking at what India is planning, doing and thinking, and described BRICS as “one of the most important events India is hosting.”
