India's domestic air passenger traffic drops 4.8% in July

India’s domestic aviation market saw a July dip, with passenger traffic falling 4.8% month-on-month to 120 lakh, even as the January-July tally remained 0.64% higher year-on-year. IndiGo continued to dominate with a 67.4% share, while the Air India Group accounted for 24%. On the operational front, IndiGo also led the major airlines with a 91.2% on-time performance.
