Maharashtra FDA seizes food worth Rs 20.48 lakh; 6 Mumbai eateries face action

The Tukaram Mundhe-led Maharashtra FDA intensified its food safety crackdown, seizing 28,955 kg of food products and 56 litres of used cooking oil worth Rs 20.48 lakh from 11 establishments in Thane. The FDA also suspended licences over alleged hygiene and safety violations in Mumbai and Pune
