'Not just language, Tamil our life and emotion': Assembly passes resolution on State Anthem at government events

Aimed at safeguarding Tamil Nadu’s cultural identity, the TVK government on Monday unanimously passed a resolution in the Assembly making it mandatory for Tamil Thai Vaazthu, the State Anthem, to be sung at the beginning of all official programmes in the state.
