Optimi Health To Initiate Phase 2 Psilocybin Trial For Major Depression

Optimi Health plans to initiate a multisite Phase 2 trial of psilocybin-assisted therapy for major depressive disorder in the first half of 2027. The Health Canada-authorized study will enroll up to 200 participants across Canada and evaluate a single supervised dose of natural psilocybin for safety and efficacy, with dosing expected to conclude by the end of 2027.
