Two mild earthquakes measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale struck Palghar district within an hour on Monday night, officials said. No casualties or property damage were reported. The tremors occurred at 10:04 PM and 11:00 PM, with epicentres in Jawhar taluka at around five km depth. Authorities said teams are monitoring the situation and urged residents to remain calm.
