Searches were conducted at his residence and three other locations over the past two days, during which four plots and two buildings were traced. One plot was found in Bhubaneswar and three in Nayagarh, while a 2,700-square-foot two-storey building was traced at Raghunathpur in Bhubaneswar. Vigilance also found ₹33.97 lakh deposited in different bank accounts and assets allegedly 100% disproportionate to his known income. Barad was caught with ₹5 lakh, following which searches were conducted in Rourkela and Bhubaneswar. Further investigation is underway to trace his other properties, the Rourkela Vigilance SP said.
