Supreme Court Eyes Pan-India Building Safety Scrutiny After Satya Niketan Collapse

The Supreme Court is considering a pan-India review of building safety issues after the Satya Niketan PG collapse in Delhi killed seven people. The Bench of Justices Ahsanuddin Amanullah and R Mahadevan said it may transfer the Delhi High Court PIL and examine wider concerns. Amicus Curiae Ajit Kumar Sinha sought safety audits of PG accommodations and hostels across Delhi.
