Transgender influencer Jaanmoni Das held over anti-Modi remarks linked to NEET paper leak protest

Transgender influencer Jaanmoni Das was arrested for purportedly making derogatory statements about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The action follows a complaint from Navya Haridas, the president of BJP Mahila Morcha, and the police have also contacted two other individuals involved. Das explained that the remarks were misinterpretations and issued an apology. The charges are bailable, enabling the trio to be released shortly after their arrest.
