Vanasthalipuram school bus accident kills teacher

The accident occurred near Sagar Complex under Vanasthalipuram police station limits.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Adati Bhagyalakshmi, 32, from Injapur, was travelling towards BN Reddy Nagar on a scooter with her husband Surender, 40, and their two daughters, Dakshayani, 2, and Bhavigna, 1, around 4.20pm on September 3.</p> <h3>Bus hits scooter from behind near Lifecare Hospital</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd">When the family reached near Lifecare Hospital, a Manchester International School bus (TG 07 U 7698) coming from behind hit their scooter.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Bhagyalakshmi suffered severe injuries after the bus wheels ran over her. Her husband and the two children suffered minor injuries.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Family members initially shifted the injured to Lifecare Hospital and later moved them to Kamineni Hospital. Bhagyalakshmi was subsequently shifted to Gandhi Hospital for better treatment.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">She died while undergoing treatment at around 1.10am on September 4.</p> <h3>Vanasthalipuram police register case and begin probe</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Vanasthalipuram police registered a case and began an investigation based on a complaint lodged by the deceased's father, Narsanna.</p> The body was shifted to the mortuary at Gandhi Hospital for postmortem examination.
