Twenty-year-old Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, killed in the Florida Learjet 60 crash, is being remembered as a flying prodigy. Her longtime instructor Chris Kirk called her the most naturally gifted pilot he had ever taught, saying she was born to fly. Nathalia earned her pilot’s licence in high school and impressed examiners during her Learjet training. The doomed jet was travelling from Texas to the Bahamas when it crashed, killing all nine people aboard.
