Navi Mumbai: Residents Demand Pedestrian Bridge At Turbhe Store After Woman's Death On Thane-Belapur Road

Residents of Turbhe Store in Navi Mumbai have urged corporators from Wards 14 and 20 to demand an immediate pedestrian bridge after Chhaya Gaikwad was killed crossing Thane-Belapur Road. Following protests, NMMC promised to build the bridge within a month and introduce traffic guards, CCTV cameras and signals. Residents want the pledge implemented without delay.
